	"In summer 2013, Jordan McKenzie's performance Carl An(t)dre introduced 20 young people dresses as ants, accompanied by a marching band, promenading through Yorkshire Sculpture Park's (YSP) historic landscape creating structures inspired by Carl Andre's infamous brick art work Equivalent VIII (1966). From March 2014 McKenzie showed two new films at YSP that examine the relationship of sculpture to perfomance practice and art history. Accompanying the film Carl An(t)dre is LeWitt Lean (2013), a new work made on-site at YSP. Employing Sol LeWitt’s 123454321, McKenzie invited performers to lean on the sculpture in groups that mimic the mathematical principles that inform the sculpture's construction. Previous works in this series have seen McKenzie disco dancing on a Carl Andre sculpture in Tate Modern (Andre Dance 2008), rubbing himself against a Richard Serra sculpture (Serra Frottage, 2008) and chewing up a series of Gonzalez-Torres poster works (Torres Chew, 2011)."
